#ProductReview | COLUMBUS INGEGNERIA CICLISTICA CAP

Hi riders!
Today we bring you another post about the famous cycling wear from Wingedstore, the official Cinelli store. In this case we want to show you another of their new "vintage style" cycling caps, the Columbus Ingegneria Ciclistica, black and red cycling cap.

This cap is part of a new collection that celebrates Columbus' rich history of 'Ingegneria Ciclistica' or 'Bicycle Engineering', that made it the world's number one maker of steel bicycle tubing. The North American Handmade Bicycle Show celebrates the art of frame building in its purest form, and Columbus will be there meeting with the many artisan frame builders that rely on Columbus steel for their craft.

Fixed gear Forgood 2014 by Giovanni Motta & Biscagne Cicli

Hi riders and fixie lovers!

Today we bring you fresh and nice news from the fixed gear world, in this case from a "non profit" project created by Biscagne Cicli Columbus. Every year since 2010 they produce a beautiful bike and then they put special sale on this web site. They call this "Fixed  Gear Forgood"

Fixed gear Forgood 2014 by Giovanni Motta & Biscagne Cicli

It 's beautiful because his frame was hand-painted by an Italian artist. And "special" because 100% of the proceeds will be donated to a good cause: the medical and scientific research for the benefit of children

Cinelli Italo 79 T-shirt

Cycling caps review

As we have said, here we have three official cycling caps from Cinelli, one is the amazing colorful Caleido, a modern cap, and the others are Columbus, more vintage, for classic cycling lovers of this brand.

Caleido Cap

CINELLI CALEIDO CAP: cap inspired by the Strato Wired carbon frame and new for 2014 Vigorelli Caleido edition.

Columbus Classic Cap

COLUMBUS CLASSIC CAP: The cardinal rule of the founder of Columbus Tubes Angelo Luigi, is that quality is taken care of at every stage of production.

Columbus Multitag Cap

COLUMBUS MULTITAG CAP: This cap takes its inspiration from the famous Columbus tags present on the seat tube. The collage includes a myriad of tube types from the Columbus archives.

Conclusion:

  • All of this cycling caps are great...when you need to wear all the history of a legendary brand like Cinelli & Columbus you must have one of this models...
  • Comfortable, we tested all the caps using a helmet without problems

Cinelli Italo 79 T-shirt review

This Cinelli Italo 79 T-shirt comes in black colour with a big logo in front and a little logo in the back. This T-shirt is dedicated to the Cinelli winged "C" logo designed by a young Italo Lupi in 1979. Lupi went on the become one of Italy's most decorated and influential modern designers.

Conclusion:

  • 100% Cotton and made in Italy, great!
  • A basic T-shirt to feel as a Cinelli's fan

About Wingedstore Official Cinelli Store

HISTORY
In the 80s and 90s Cinelli owned and operated a series of cycling stores under the name ‘Gran Ciclismo’ based in Milan. These stores, originally conceived by Antonio Colombo, were revolutionary and a forerunner in what would eventually become high-end sports retail. The cutting edge ‘Concept Store’ format dedicated almost entirely to a single brand was unheard of at the time. Winged Store is the evolution of this idea, a single point of reference in a truly expressive environment available for the world to experience.

MISSION
Our mission is to spread the spirit of Cinelli. Brought to life by Cino Cinelli in 1948 and continued by Antonio Colombo when he took the reins in 1978 and built a cult icon for generations of cyclists all over the world. We are enthusiastically dedicated to keeping alive the heritage of the Cinelli and Columbus trademarks, their beauty and value for money. We want their names and logos to endure, and we want as wide an audience as possible to appreciate them, and to enjoy the Cinelli experience for now, and for the future.
