The Emerald by Ben van Dorsselaer (Brisbane - Australia)

Our friend Ben van Dorsselaer has sent us his last fixed gear bike called "The Emerald", really nice fixed gear bike with a metallic green Leader Heritage Edition 722 frame. He has published this photos in his blog (here you have).

As he says:

There isn't much of a story... Basically, I had a Mojo complete that I won in a competition a couple of years ago and it finally died a few weeks ago. It served me well and I really liked it- it was a great start up bike to get me into fixed gear riding. However I knew I had to move on and get another bike pretty soon, as it is my main form of transport. So I went to my local bike shop- Gear Shop Brisbane- who specialise in fixed gear bikes and had a chat to them. The Leader frame jumped out at me straight away and I decided on it over a Leader 725 track frame mainly because it was more of a classic look and closer to what I was used to riding (steel frame) in the past. The guys put it together for me and a couple of days and just over a thousand dollars later I was the owner of this bike. It's super responsive and I love everything about it.
