A basic product for fixed gear riders is.....yeah...a cycling cap, and today we want to show one really special, a handmade cycling cap called "Montréal" from
Disamare, they are located in Montreal and their cycling caps are 100% local, made with care and great fun.
Montréal Cycling Cap review
"Combining style and function, these hats keep the rain, sweat, and sun
out of your eyes without fear of the wind blowing it right off. Rock the
brim flipped up, or down under your helmet (safety first!) and rep your
local pride." -Madeinmtl
Cycling cap entirely made by hand in Montreal.
Model Montreal White (other colors available)
The
design is screen printed by hand and refers to the architecture of
Montreal's Biosphère. All designs are original creations from
Disamare,
a company founded by 2 lovers of DIY and bikes!
-Cotton fabric prewashed and medium thickness ( hand wash recommended + do not put it in the clothes dryer machine)
- Perfect for wearing under an helmet and to protect yourself from drafts or absorb sweat
-Rigid visor reinforced with plastic and short ( 2 inches). It rises easily to not obstruct the view
They have two sizes!
The
(Small -Med ) is normally a single size which fits all types of heads
with the elastic . But to satisfy the biggest heads, if you are unsure
or afraid to feel cramped, we made a (Med- width ), which also fits with
an elastic.
Important: The fabric of each cap is printed manually
(silk screening) with fabric ink that has been heated to avoid damages.
In addition, the silk screening sometimes alters the pattern which can
be darker or less apparent at some spots. For Disamare team, this
feature is far from being a failure and indeed, the charm of a manual
printing process! Each hat is truly unique and valuable.
Conclusion
- Genuine design and pattern
- Handmade, we love handmade products, they are really appreciated for fixed gear riders
- Comfortable and perfect fitted in our head
