#musicVideo | Kill Frenzy - All Night Long (Official Video) with Fixie Goons

Fixie music fot the weekend!
He’s ridden us raw with his naked piano. He’s made our booties clap so hard we’ve needed medical care. He’s shown us his titsss and he’s even taken us to the mo… Wherever that is. Now Belgian wunderkind Kill Frenzy is about to flip the biggest switch of his career and whisk us on his most exciting, most extensive dirtybird adventure yet: His long-awaited debut album TAYLR SWFT. Here is a double-slice, the single from his debut long-player, All Night Long and No Panties.

Whilst TAYLR SWFT as a whole sees Kill Frenzy develop his uncompromising, ghetto-bound repertoire with serious maturity, depth and class. Our first selection, the opening tracks from the album, ease us in with some trademark 808 naughtiness and panty-dropping vocal action. So limber up, get ready and press play!

Growing up, Kill Frenzy and his friends would cruise the streets of Belgium on fixie bikes exploring new territories. This was the key inspiration behind the “All Night Long” video. Their director's team linked up with the “Fixie Goons”, a bike crew that is recognized for their urban cycling movement. This video provides a glimpse into the crews' regular late-night antics: cruising the desolate streets Los Angeles, popping tricks and having a blast in the process.

Pedalbelt: Our review of this leather pedal straps

Pedalbelt

Today we want to talk about Pedalbelt, as you can remember, we had made a post about this interesting project born in Canada by Colin Soper. Now, in this post, we will make our product review of this amazing leather pedal straps.
We used to pedal with strap made of fabric, but in this case, we have the Pedalbelts, made of high quality leather and seared with the logo of Pedalbelt as you can see in the photos.

Adjusting screws of the Pedalbelt
To mount this straps in the pedals is really easy, you only have two screws to adjust the two strips and you're done!

A positive point is that the straps are made of leather, it allows always get stuck with shape of the foot and is easy to put in and take the foot of them.

Pedalbelt is a foot retention system for flat platform pedals that offers strength, durability, and comfort. Pedalbelts work without a cage and are wider than traditional straps.  They are made with premium buffalo leather, brass eyelets and stainless steel hardware which is both resistant and looks better with age.

Pedalbelts newly mounted!

Design

The unique design of the Pedalbelt is simple, yet elegant.  It is made from the absolute best materials; creating an incredibly durable, bulletproof product. Pedalbelts are extremely easy to install, are available in a variety of colours, and allow you to quickly customize your ride.

Testing the Pedalbelts

Why are Pedalbelts different?

Pedalbelts are the only straps to become better with age.  With time the leather will mold into the shape of your feet becoming only more comfortable and the brass eyelets with develop a classic patina.

Conclusion

  • High quality materials, is genuine leather!
  • Easy to mount in your pedals
  • Colors: tan, honey brown, concrete, burnt red
  • Elegant design, become better with age

Restrap Straps, fix your feet to the pedals

Restrap Straps box
Hi all, today we have another product review, in this case we will review the Restrap Straps. As many of you know, keep our feet stuck to the pedals are critical when we ride in a fixed gear bike. You can choose different systems of foot retention, but under our experience we can say the straps is the best system.

The story of this Restrap Straps

This is a variation on their classic diagonal design, the horizontals offer the same reliable strength and durability. Made to last.

Construction

Naturally arched to fit your foot, the straps require no manual adjustment. Thanks to their unique flag stitched design, the strap keeps its shape and remains free from the crank arm. Classic, plated buckles provide a quality finish.

Fitting the straps

Straps are supplied with instructions and include a full fitting kit with washers and screws. Buckles should be worn on the outside of the pedal.

Our experience testing the Restrap Straps

As always, we have tested this straps in our Pinky Fixie (our test bike for the moment). First of all, we dismounted our old classic toe clips and straps to fit our new Restrap Straps. We cleaned the pedal, and then we started to fit the straps, it was really easy, you only need to insert the straps between the gaps on the pedal and adjust it to your foot size.

Riding with straps

Then we start riding, at first time, introduce the foots in the straps seems a bit difficult (it is normal, when takes the form of the foot is easier). You will discover the big difference between straps and toe clips when you try skid... amazing! To skid in asphalt is easy with straps...be careful or your wheels will die in few days hahaha....

Conclusion

  • Great design: only in black color, with Restrap logos, simplicity.
  • Strong, really strong to skid!
  • High quality materials and good finishes.
  • Easy to fit and adjust
  • Highly recommended if you are searching for a high quality straps with a minimal design to skid
