SHEFIX EIGHTWHEEL Fixed gear girls from Riga

SHEFIX a group of fixed gear girls from Riga (Latvia) has published a video about them. As they say:

This is a story of passion, love, wheelies and ladies who love to ride. It all started in Riga, Piens. Velo which is the central meeting point of the fixed gear scene. Then we were simply one of the few female competitors in the mini-drome racing. Being all open-minded, we felt we're ought to make something out of it. An idea of the video was well received and grounded. Its main purpose was to show that there are chicks on fixed gear wheels and they lovin' it. Anyway, it wouldn't be possible without the masculine creative support.

Director: Linda Jakubone
Cinematography: Dāvis Zelčāns / Ritvars Bluka
Postproduction: Dāvis Zelčāns
Logo Design: Zagga
Music: Mac Miller "Cold Feet" (Instrumental)

Martyn Ashton - Road Bike Party

This video is one of the most incredible videos that we have never seen, amazing tricks with a road bike, this is his story:

Martyn Ashton takes the £10k carbon road bike used by Team Sky's Bradley Wiggins & Mark Cavendish for a ride with a difference. With a plan to push the limits of road biking as far as his lycra legs would dare, Martyn looked to get his ultimate ride out of the awesome Pinarello Dogma 2. This bike won the 2012 Tour de France - surely it deserves a Road Bike Party!

Shot in various locations around the UK and featuring music from 'Sound of Guns'. Road Bike Party captures some of the toughest stunts ever pulled on a carbon road bike.

A Film by Robin Kitchin

Produced by Ashton Bikes

Music: Sound of Guns 'Sometimes'

WHAT KEEPS YOU GOING ? via Monsterfixed

This story has thrilled us, a story of personal growth, integration, good people, ...

They are from Singapore and mainly, some of the riders are deaf which is most of them can not able to hear / talks and some of them are normal people like usual ...

They are...Monsterfixed (Mfxd)

Monsterfixed (Mfxd) is a fixed gear group based in Singapore since 2009. Their crew consists of all races, ages ranging from 16 to 26 years old and hearing-impaired and non-hearing impaired members.

Cycling gives them a sense of independence, but it may be even stronger for the deaf community. Hearing impaired cyclists must focus all of their attention when cycling because they are not able to hear sirens and traffic noises.

When cycling, they feel that their body and their bikes are as one.  They gain so much experience through riding. They are inspired by the fixed gear scenes around the world. They gain many friends through cycling and they hope to make more friends & to expose themselves more out there in the fixed gear scene.

They are the heart and the bike is the body, if their legs don’t move the bike won’t start. They have to keep on pedaling to keep it going.

And this is one of their amazing videos telling their stories...really nice!
From The Fixed Gear World, we want to congratulate this group of people, and all those groups, as Monsterfixed, helps integrate people in a positive way, helping them and learning from them personally to outdo day by day.
