Copenhagen bike messengers | Freedom and Friendship

Hi riders, today, Rasmus, a fixed gear lover from Copenhagen has sent us this short film about bike messengers in his city. Great work guys!
Meet Jumbo and Fergie, two bike messengers from Copenhagen, during the pre-event in Copenhagen for European Cycle Messenger Championship 2014 (in Stockholm). They tell us about how the bike messenger job changed their lives. It's so much more than money. It's about speed, friendship, gear and the sense of freedom.

A Day In the Life of Tim Friday [Full Movie]

All Tim Friday wants to do is party with hot girls who ride fixies. Unfortunately, his fun is inhibited along the way as he traverses through a series of unfortunate events. A Day In The Life of Tim Friday is a rare real-life snapshot of Atlanta’s Afro-punk subculture, a film about searching for a small piece of happiness in a big city.

I BIKE. Court métrage

Via some key cycling personalities, this short movie develops ideas surrounding the fixed gear scene and biking community of Montreal. The viewer is introduced to various characters from the Montreal fixed gear communities including shop owners, musicians, restaurant owners, corporate commuters, politicians, messengers and more. The personality and passion of each character is developed through interviews with supporting imagery. Each character is chosen to represent a different story and viewpoint regarding the quickly growing fixed gear culture of Montreal with the main objective of challenging the viewer’s perceptions surrounding cycling. The viewer creates conclusions and question their understanding of urban biking as an efficient means of municipal transportation and art.
