With the Phantom here,
we wanted to apply the concept of KISS – Keep It Simple, Stupid!
We are all so caught up with our obligations in all aspects we forget to just simply let it all behind and have fun.
We all know that person; the type to have much going on in their lives (which isn’t always a bad thing) but yet we sometimes miss out on the fun in life, from the simpler things.
We kept it hella simple with this one to return to the basics and the simple joy of riding! But that didn’t mean we weren’t going to care about the design AT ALL.

Lastly, we would like to dedicate this creation to the amazing people we have met,
and let us not forget that its all your support that keeps us reCycling at reCycledride.

Pennington, the last creation by Recycledride

Our friend Jiyo from Recycledride has sent us their last creation, and here we have some pics and comments about this nice called Pennington (Worth every penny) bike from Canada.

Pennington is made from a 70's Miele frame and the idea behind the bike was to make a classy looking bike that even students and young workers can afford. Being able to commute in style and turn some heads while riding through town. The bike was professionally powdercoated Opel Green and comes with a brown saddle and handle, gold-chain set up. They wanted to send out the message that this bike is worth every single penny, hence Pennington

"From Paris with Love" by reCycledride

Our friend Jiyo from Recycledr  has sent us their last job called "From Paris with Love".

But, why this name?

Here Jiyo explain the story behind this fixed gear bike:

"From Paris with Love" by Recycledr

The bicycle is a 80's Raleigh frame (made in Nottingham, England) and it was used by a banker in Paris, France to go to work and to get home. The bicycle was brought to Kitchener, Canada when the banker moved back to Canada. The gentleman who owned the bicycle is now a humble old man who was not worried about making money from selling the bike but wanted to make sure the vintage champion frame was sent to a good home.

As a result, we felt that it was important to identify its origin and where it also spent most of its life. We wanted to add features to the bike that would support the British origin and the French culture as well.

So, we added a Brooks saddle for the British flavor and a French flag on the fork to remember where it was used. As we are a very young company, it was a great experience to have something so beautiful come all the way from Paris, France into our hands in Toronto, Canada.

The bike's color scheme was created with the season autumn in mind. We wanted to create a warm setting with the colors and a friendly, yet luxurious look.
