#video | 8bar Adventures - Morocco - High Atlas

8bar love to ride their bikes ourselves and go on trips that deviate somewhat from the average.

Starting in 2012 by crossing the Alps with their fixed-gear bikes, to taking a trip from Berlin to Prague without the help of a map with their Singlespeed Cyclocross bikes in 2013 and climbing the Schneekoppe, the highest peak of the Giant Mountains in Poland, in 2014 with their road bikes.

This time they decided on Africa, the Atlas Mountains in the middle of Morocco to be more precise, as their next destination. The Atlas forms a striking divided line between the relatively humid climate in the far north of Maghreb to the extremely dry Sahara.

A really nice video of this adventure... Hope you like it!

#video | #Seabase1910 with Patrick Seabase - 300 km - Fixed Gear

When in 1910 the organisers of the Tour de France included a mountain stage in the race for the first time, the outcry in the peloton was huge. With 300 kilometres and 6000 vertical metres of climbing over five mountain passes from Bagnères de Luchon to Bayonne, it was a brutal parcours that struck fear into the heart of even the toughest riders of the time. Now, 105 years later, Switzerland’s Patrick Seabase is set to follow in the tyre tracks of those cycling legends by becoming the first athlete to complete this legendary stage … on a fixie. His challenge of a lifetime starts on 3 June 2015 in the Pyrenees. Fans can follow the adventure in real-time with GPS tracking and a live feed at www.redbull.com/Seabase1910.

We invite you to follow Patrick Seabase on #seabase1910 and join the conversation on Twitter (@patrickseabase, #seabase1910), Facebook (facebook.com/patrickseabase, #seabase1910), and Instagram (@patrickseabase, #seabase1910).

Hardbrakers - Budapest to Istanbul Movie Teaser

Hi fixie lovers! Yesterday we received a post from Karl Krabbenhöft from Hamburg (Germany) telling us their story, here you have it in his own words:

"Last summer 12 of my friends and I went on a tour through Eastern Europe going from Budapest to Istanbul.
It was one of the dopest experiences of my life and we had so much fun riding, checkin out the nature and the  9 cities we past. We met so many nice locals, got really rowdy at the clubs and made a lot of friends.
But because words can’t describe how beautiful the route was we are working on a documentary right now digging through roughly 2TB of footage our friend and camera guy Daniel filmed. We just finished a Teaser which gives an idea of what the documentary will be like. We are already planning our next tour this summer and I can’t wait to ride my bike in the sun again with the best friends you can imagine! (The weather is fucking shitty right now in Hamburg)

http://www.hardbrakers.com/grand-tour/2013-2/ here you can check out the stages with a little report and some other data"

And here we have their teaser, enjoy it!

Who said you can not? Aaron Wheelz Fotheringham

Via Pablo Noguero in his site Asfixiados we have received this amazing pair of videos about Aaron Wheelz Fotheringham, an incredible guy in wheelchair without limits. We think it's a great video to say "bye bye 2013" and start a powerful 2014...Aaron, you are great!

When life gives you a wheelchair, you cant let it become a barrier, you must find a skatepark.
