Wooden bike prototype by Artjoms Prokopiško

Our friend Artjoms Prokopiško has sent us some pics of his new project, a wooden bike prototype, here you have some of his words:

Seat, top and down tubes are made from oak and red oak timber combination.
Despite the fact that wood is less rigid than metal, with proper treatment it may be used in bicycle frames. Combining different types of wood and composites relative stiffness or smoothness can be achieved.
Before achieving this result, I've tested different types of frames (completely made from plywood, partly made from plywood) and focused on this type of frame, because it includes both: rigid construction and aesthetic appearance.

I'm trying to raise some money at crowdfunding platform, to start producing it. (on Indiegogo).

Thanks Artjoms! From The Fixed Gear World we wish to see your amazing project riding on the streets soon!
