CMWC: Mexico 2014 Cycling cap by Cinelli & Chicago Book

Few days ago, 30.05.2014 was celebrated the CMWC 2014 in Mexico, and here we bring you some products, pics and videos related with this great event of messenger riders from all over the world.

Cinelli, and his official merchandise website Wingedstore has in their shop two things related with the CMWC:

CMWC: Mexico 2014 Cycling cap by Cinelli & Chicago Book

One for the past celebrated in Chicago in 2012, a book plenty of conversations with Kevin "Squid" Bolger, essays by Kurt Boone, Sonia Serba, Nico Deportago, Ben Stewart and Krista Carlson and snapshots of bicycle messengers, cool moments, winners, losers, by Christopher Dilts, ....great to read now in summertime!

And, second, the official cycling cap of the CMWC 2014 Mexico. Cinelli is an official sponsor of the 2014 Cycle Messenger World Championship in Mexico City. The strongest, smartest and fastest bike messengers from across the planet converge once a year to determine who is the best in a variety of events that test riders’ physical and mental limits. CMWC is a world championship sporting event but it is also a global festival celebrating messenger culture and its broad influence on modern urban culture.

About Wingedstore

HISTORY
In the 80s and 90s Cinelli owned and operated a series of cycling stores under the name ‘Gran Ciclismo’ based in Milan. These stores, originally conceived by Antonio Colombo, were revolutionary and a forerunner in what would eventually become high-end sports retail. The cutting edge ‘Concept Store’ format dedicated almost entirely to a single brand was unheard of at the time. Winged Store is the evolution of this idea, a single point of reference in a truly expressive environment available for the world to experience.
MISSION
Our mission is to spread the spirit of Cinelli. Brought to life by Cino Cinelli in 1948 and continued by Antonio Colombo when he took the reins in 1978 and built a cult icon for generations of cyclists all over the world. We are enthusiastically dedicated to keeping alive the heritage of the Cinelli and Columbus trademarks, their beauty and value for money. We want their names and logos to endure, and we want as wide an audience as possible to appreciate them, and to enjoy the Cinelli experience for now, and for the future.
