Hi riders!
Today we want to talk about an amazing challenge, the "#cyclepalestine 2016 challenge".
Faraz is part of the team, he is a cyclist from the U.K, he is now going on a tour within Palestine/Israel.
He is covering over 200km over a few days in the country alongside the charity. The charity MAP (Medical Aid for Palestinians) is a righteously well-known cause within the U.K as well as abroad.
They have organised this unique challenge which he personally is participating in.
The unique thing about this ride for himself is that he is covering the whole distance on his fixed gear bike. It is a huge challenge as nobody has attempted this before.
Through the mountains and even across some desert like roads he is pedalling away to raise awareness and funds for this righteous cause.
You can follow their diary here: http://www.map-uk.org/events/cycle-palestine-2016-diary
From 24th September - 2nd October 2016, a group of intrepid MAP supporters will be taking on, Cycle Palestine 2016 an adventurous cycling challenge, aiming to raise £100,000 to support MAP projects.
The route will take the group from the northernmost point in the West Bank to the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea. Along the way, the group will pass the Separation Wall, enjoy meals with local families and visit MAP's mobile health clinic in the Jordan Valley.
Support the group's fundraising efforts and donate today at www.justgiving.com/teams/cyclepalestine2016
Feel free to share this post with all the people you want to get more funds for the project! Thanks!!!
