Dark nights arrive in winter... it's time to review.... bike lights!!!
Today we want to show you STIX from Specialized. We have been testing this lights for 2 weeks in our fixie, here the results!
STIX Combo review and info
The STIX Combo lightset is composed by 2 lights: white for the front, red for the rear. With 70-lumen headlight and 14-lumen tail light, you will have enough light!
The lights come in one package, is a “to-be-seen” bicycle light, intended to be installed with a Specialized mount and used while riding.
Each Stix is equipped with a mount for the handlebar or seatpost. Additional mounts are available for different mounting configurations, for exemple for your helmet (we have not tested this... :-P )
Front light:
Has 6 light modes:
- High steady 70 lumens (we have used this mode every night and works perfect)
- Low steady 36 lumens
- Power surge 70 lumnes
- Power flash 70 lumens
- Disco flash 36 lumens
- Eco flash 36 lumens
Rear light:
Has 6 light modes too:
- High steady 14 lumens
- Low steady 7 lumens
- Power surge 14 lumnes (we have use this mode to ride safe... works perfect!)
- Power flash 14 lumens
- Disco flash 7 lumens
- Eco flash 7 lumens
Another important thins when you ride at night or in dark streets or roads is waterproof, this light set is water resistant (FL1 Standard)
To use the STIX lights is really easy, you only need to recharge the lights via USB, and hold the ligthts to your bike, in our case in handlebar and seatpost as you can see in the pictures. On/Off button is in one side, robust to avoid problems in future, for me is ok, maybe could be more smooth, but maybe this is to avoid problems, for that, is ok!

Conclusion:
- Easy to use, install and recharge
- It's a "must have" for ride at night or dark
- Resistant
- Good product and design really cute adapted to the design of your bike
- Price, $55 USD is a correct price for this quality product
